Chief Executive Officer

Ramzy Nasrallah






Tonya has been with AVA since 1998.  She manages the day to day operations of the association.  She provides support to the D-Team, and the Nominating Committee, as well as she is the direct contact to AVA's Corporate Members.  Tonya provides support to the CEO and Board of Directors to carry out the mission and strategic plan of AVA.


Director of Finance

Lory Schantz

Lory handles all aspects of AVA's financial processes including:  budget preparation and analysis, audit and tax functions, investments, depreciation, payroll, A/P, A/R, etc.  As Director of Finance, it is her responsibility to ensure that AVA is compliant with all issues related to finance.  She consults with executive leadership related to staff adherence to all AVA financial policies, and, as needed, participates in cost analyses with other directors.  In addition, she coordinates, analyzes and reports on financial performance to leadership and to the Board of Directors.  She works closely with the Treasurer.


Director of Affiliates

Cindy Anderton

Cindy has been with AVA since January 2012.  She is responsible for program development of the AVA networks while supporting AVA’s strategic plan by working with the CEO, committees and AVA Board.  Cindy is also serves as the staff liaison to AVA's Special Interest Groups. 

Cindy has 20+ years of business management and customer service experience.  She has served in many capacities including Business Manager, Marketing Coordinator, Customer Service Manager, and Executive Assistant.


Member Services Coordinator

Jennifer Livsey

Jennifer is an integral part of the AVA team. Her goal is to enhance the membership experience at AVA. Jennifer assists members with all needs from renewing membership to helping navigate the Web site. Feel free to contact her if you are interested in joining AVA, purchasing a product, or want more information about member benefits. Jennifer also provides administrative support to all AVA staff members and serves as staff liaison to the Membership Committee.  

Jennifer received her BS degrees in Sociology and Public Relations from Utah State University.  She brings experience in journalism, copy editing, desktop publishing, and customer service.  




Communications and Marketing Coordinator

Beth Gore

Beth is a National Patient Advocate with a background in Training, Communications and Business. In her new role, her emphasis will be on providing AVA internal plus external communications by partnering and collaborating with other organizations to help provide safe vascular access. Beth is heading up the Patient Education and Advocacy Committee. 

She is a sought after Keynote speaker throughout the healthcare continuum. Beth came to AVA initially because of her youngest son, Manny, who lives with a central line. Her personal mission statement is, "Speaking for those who cannot speak for themselves."
